Eastern 248 Explorer
The Eastern 248 Explorer was designed with you, the customer in mind. We’ve maintained the traditional downeast style and beautiful look with this model. We’ve added a molded inner liner that greatly enhances the appearance. In the cabin the molded v-berths are accented with teak trim including shelves, rope locker and hanging locker. The teak trim continues into the pilot house.
The hull maintains a soft chine and relatively flat bottom aft. These features allow for a soft, smooth ride with a lot less horsepower than a typical boat of its size.
